Former deputy president of the EFF (2014–2024) and current MK Party MP. Named in evidence as a beneficiary of money flowing out of VBS Mutual Bank via his brother Brian Shivambu. The SIU report and the Motau "VBS — The Great Bank Heist" forensic investigation reference him among the politically exposed individuals investigated under the VBS Proclamation. He has consistently denied wrongdoing; no criminal charges have been laid against him at the time of writing.
